Friday 8 Aug 2014: BOSTON
Hi, to all my family and friends who want to follow my blog while i am on my travels to Boston/Bermuda and Quebec Canada.
Well, i have arrived in Boston,feeling older, greyer,lighter,( lost 3 kg)and wiser!!!!, and am going to be meeting hubby on THE DAWN,this morning.Cant wait, so excited, missed the old bugger!!Abcense makes the heart grow fonder, very true. Close family and friends know all the drama behind the scenes and what it took, to get here,so i am really releived and very very, thankfull, a miracle,dankie HERE.
Just to fill those of you in on the drama,i did not have my passport and visa before i left PE for Oliver Tambo Airport on the 6thAug and my flight to Boston was leaving at 20h10 that evening.I only heard the day before, that my Canadian visa would be ready on Wed afternoon in JOBURG and that visa express would be doing a meet & greet delivery at the airport.So that is less than 5 hours before i have to go through customs and leave the country.
Well needless to say, i have never been so glad to see a courier deliveryman in my life!!Was not letting him go anyware before i had opened the parcel and there it was, PASSPORT AND CANADIAN VISA for 2 years praise the LORD.
So want to tell you, travels, always sound to wonderful and hunky dorry but when there is drama not for Sussies!! or i am getting older and cant take the punch..
