Bermuda

12 August 2014 : Bermuda

Amazing, since I have been on the ship I have been sleeping like a baby! Asked hubby if we are getting enough oxygen during the night!! Well, today we have to be back on the ship before 17h00 because we then are heading back for Boston. Had a good laugh at the shopping consultants comment about, if you are in St Georges and it is 16h30, kick back and relax for you are not going to make it back to the ship in time and you are going to be left behind!!

Today’s weather cloudy and humid, 27degrees, so think we will be hitting the beach. Am very tempted to visit a pirate ship that is docked in the harbour near our boat and on this ship you can have a drink (not that we will be doing that) and swim, you actually jump from the deck into the water and this looks like so much fun. So you actually swim in the harbour.

Took a photo to show you but at the moment am battling to load the pictures, but will try again today. Crew are busy with emergency drill at the moment and must say the emergency alarm gives you goose bumps.

Such a privilege to come back to island again because your first visit is so overwhelming and takes a while to get your bearings and ducks in a row! This coming week I will be attending the talks on the different Shaw Exertions just to hear what is available. Another interesting info on this island, they have painted poles, the pink poles are buses going into town the blue and white poles are buses leaving town, never heard of that.
