22 Sept 2014 @Sea
Wel min het ek geweet dinge gaan nog baie erger raak! Ons in die middle van n storm/of
soos hulle dit noem VOILENT STORM! Sea very rough waves 4/6meters high. The
worst part of it, we could not stop in Syndey because of the rough sea, so are
at sea again for today and will be pushing to get to Halifax. Hopefully we will
have better weather when we leave Quebec on the 3 rd. Oct on our last trip.
This is the first time I have been in this kind of weather
and must say it is scary, there is no way one would be able to get a pilot on
board to get us into a harbour, so just have to stick it out at sea.Hier is jy
aan die HERE se genade oorgelaat,en ons bitter klein in die groot see.All I
would grap is my Bible and passport. Our porthole still closed and you can hear
the waves crashing against the ship. Very thankful I am not seasick.
This morning I got up early, all dressed up and ready for my
day in Sydney when hubby came to give me the bad news that we are cant visit
Sydney because of the extreme weather .Anyway then I was off to the gym for a
good workout terwyl ek ook maar hoog trap!! Survived and then it was time for a
lovely breakfast while you watch this sea in its full rage from deck 12,sit ook
maar met groot ogies en almal lyk dieselfde.
At least captain says weather in Halifax better and sunny;
don’t know when we will be getting there. Hubby had a crew member with atrial
fibrillation last night but thank the Lord he responded to medication and is
stable because in this storm no one is going anywhere, so he just has to cope
with all emergencies here.
Am going to try and go to the Titanic museum in Halifax,
hubby going to be working so I will be on my own. Well, until next time bye.
